the man against all adversities

Say all the crap you want about Bush but this president has the gonads to face all adversities.....from 911 to Saddam Hussein to a pretzel and a pair of size 10 shoes.....He will always be remembered....good or bad....

....while people chastised him for the Iraq war, I gave him credit for the way he handled 9-11, one of the biggest terrorist attacks ever launched and that he was able to mount an attack back against the terrorists. Though Hussein seemed to be part of his secret agenda, I felt that it was also a necessary evil. But sadly, Americans and Iraqis lives were lost along the way while doing so. How would you tackle the problem of terrorism? I believe that there is only one way - the Bush way.

In no shape or form am I saying that Bush is better than any past or future American presidents. I am just saying that, he did what was needed to be done in his term and sometimes the necessary choice is not the most popular choice.

Democrats who are reading my blog....please do not flame me....I am neither a republican or a democrat follower.....I just felt that Bush' unpopularity over the years clouded people's judgment of him.....No one is perfect and to be the president of United States is not an easy job and with that being said let's welcome Obama with open arms my republican friends........

hong kong

back from hong kong....
my very first trip with long time buddies bobby and ivan....
spent 4 days and 3 nights in the city of hong kong which we literally did what the advert says...."mai dong xi chi dong xi".......I am still amazed at the amount of shopping we did....after several people had me convinced that hong kong is boring........let me paint you a picture: in the 4D3N, we spent half a day at ocean park...other than that it was shop till you drop literally....joints were weakened, toes were frozen, bellies were empty but hands were never empty, carrying bags of merchandises......

bobby got his oakleys
ivan with his TOUGH andy lau's
me with my Bally bag.....and of course with other miscellaneous stuff

hong kong was not fantastic but it was a good enough break from the monotony and rigorous routine of work....and to spend time with my buddies was definitely a delight

Top 10
1) Waking up every morning and then taking abt an hour nap while waiting for Ivan to be ready
2) Cantonese sounds totally foreign
3) Wanton appears to be similar to that of our local shrimp dumpling
4) Knowing that I can survive 14 degrees celsius with just a polo tee.......
5) Realising that Bobby smokes like a chimney
6) Rollercoasters are overrated
7) Some parts of hong kong are almost a replica of singapore
8) No rudeness, uncouth hongkongers witnessed
9) I like my mango desserts
10) My merchandises

wow...I finally blogged and it took me a trip to hong kong to get me reignited....
