RIP again Heath Ledger

The first Batman movie had the young nubile Kim Basinger
The second Batman movie had the curvaceous feline Michelle Pfeiffer
The third Batman movie had the irresistable sultry Nicole Kidman
The fourth Batman movie had the flexible poisonous Uma Thurman
The fifth Batman movie had Mrs Tom Cruise Katie Holmes
The latest Batman movie has the bland Maggie Gyllenhaal....

However, Christian Bale, Aaron Eckhart, Heath Ledger, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman and Michael Caine all proved that you don't need any sexy women to make a movie a huge major success. The Dark Knight I must say was overhyped but it was overhyped and awesome. Easily the best superhero movie ever made. I won't go as far as the best movie in 2008 but the former would suffice.

It was not your typical superhero movie...the normal damsel in distress, the hero that saved the day. The movie touched on the insecurity of Batman, the angst of the Joker and the transformation and the human side of Harvey "Two face" Dent.

The Dark Knight is one of a kind and mostly it was due to Heath Ledger. As much as I love Christian Bale and his past movies, he did pale in comparison alongside Heath Ledger. And to think that I doubted the choice of Ledger as the Joker made me wanna kick myself. You can't really blame me though after watching him as the angsty gay cowboy in Brokeback Mountain.

I will not spoil the movie the movie BUT go watch!!!!!! To end of this entry,
The Joker(to Batman): You and I, We can do this forever.
If only Ledger would be around to do the next film...............................................
