Land Of The Rising Sun
Alrighty peeps! I am back from Japan....a gruelling 10 days of holidaying and monstrous shopping, visiting sceneries, getting sick, recovering from sickness, passing on my virus like the TB guy....
Japanese are in generally a bunch of well mannered, polite people.....I would say service standards there are leaps and bounds ahead of Singapore.....The constant irrahaimases, doozos made you feel a little bit important even though it could be annoying sometimes when it was repeated every 5 seconds...
The people there is certainly a different breed
To be a Japanese girl, you either adopt a sweet demure looking girl look, a tanning bed gone wrong look or a descendent of the Adam's family look......But all in all you still need the basic necessities like the knee length stockings and most importantly a Louis Vuitton bag.....
To be a Japanese guy, you basically have just one look.....the anorexic feminine body with some outrageous hairdo and you can choose to cloth yourself with tattered jeans or a full suit.....
I won't elaborate much on the tour until the pics are up but to summarise it...it was awesome...
What I did? The more important ones.....
1) I visited Mount Fuji
2) I sat on the tallest Ferris Wheel at Odaibah
3) I went up to Tokyo Towers (which is higher than the Eiffel) and had a skyline view of Tokyo
4) I survived the Tokyo subway and train lines
5) Japanese Ryoori......Oishii! (Sushi, Ramen, Sashimi etc.........) - no more sakae, sushi tei for a while
6) I actually touched a real deer
7) I went naked publicly...not exactly but still...lol - dipped in the hot bath....onsen
8) Disneysea!
9) Checked my results online and realised that I have passed my professional BDS!!!
10) We did tons of shopping and its great to be on a trip with people who shops.....lol...(Gap, Uniqlo, Levi's, Havianna's and the best buy for me personally a Burberry polo tee and tie!!!)......stupid picture cannot be uploaded....will talk more abt the trip with pictures soon....
