rising to the occasion

Today I pledged a faith amount to build God a house in the marketplace, for the marketplace and to penetrate the marketplace.......this means that it is going to be a sacrifice for the next 6 months.....But I am happy because I know it is for a good cause....As I put God first, I am sure He will bless me in my life.....Today for me is the first time in a long while where I actually could feel God's presence....and it felt great...And giving truly is so much better than receiving..

On a lighter note, yours truly will be heading to bangkok after my term in school comes to an end. Tagging along will be Cheryl, Jael and Kaka (not the brazilian soccer player). Pretty stoked about it though its not going to be for long. But before this, another 3 weeks of labwork, clinics, tutorials and crap.

Last friday, I went up on stage to present my group's final year project on dental anxiety among patients in an undergraduate clinic.......I must say we spent quite a decent amount of time preparing and I was glad it was all over. Though I stumbled on some words and spoke fast (attested by the rest of the group), I thought we did a decent job. Though we did not win, it was the process that is more important. Many thanks to Dr Wong Mun Loke for basically anchoring the whole project for us, Bran for all the graphic designing and his car rides, Fengyi for always being able to be relied upon with all the secretarial work, Siwen for her intuitive mind and amazing head on her shoulder and Xueli for clicking and handling the money matters......
