benefit of the doubt
the last few weeks of term time are always the hardest to get through....just because I am so unmotivated to do any work...at least in my perspective.....that is why I am totally relying on God's strength and grace to carry on.....
today I overheard a few people discussing about the nurses we have as our chairside assistants and though I was not surprised that some not so fancy things were said about them, I just feel that we should just be thankful that they are around......
Why be critical? Yes they are slow....Yes they dont know much....But is it going to kill you or your patient by taking the extra time to wait for them or teach them a little. Why say stuff like Nurse XXX is the worst.....Given they are prolly not going to hear these but I still feel that one shouldn't go into the deep end for the sake of going in...
Dental students of all people should be more understanding of their plight just because they are also somewhat at the lowest of their own foodchain. I am sure they don't feel good being talked down by people who are decades younger....
Had a chat with Nurse Angie today and have learnt so much about her and sometimes you forget that these people are human beings and they do have family problems, health problems, whatsoever.......not just nurses but people in general.....
people should learn to be magnanimous and learn to give people the benefit of the doubt.....a little goes a long way
