poseidon

Alright, I know the whole world is wanting to watch Mission Impossible 3.....the crazy overhyped movie with the theme song ringing in my ears like tinnitus.......I really dont like the MI franchise except the first one......It went from an intelligent spy movie to a really cheesy action sequel and from the looks of the 3rd one....it seems like Tom Cruise is morphing into Steven Seagal....meaning the crazy super action hero......

I have this sudden urge to watch Poseidon.....I read that it is a remake of an Oscar winning movie in the 70s.......and I really like a big ensemble rather than a one man show ala Mission Impossible (even though Philip Seymour Hoffman and Jonathan Rhys Meyer are in the show)

Posiedon has Kurt Russell(many movies), Josh Lucas(Stealth), Emmy Rossum(The Phantom Of The Opera), Richard Dreyfuss(Mr Holland's Opus), Jacinda Barrett(Ladder 49), Mike Vogel(The Texas Chainsaw Massacre)........though they are not exactly of the popularity of Tom Cruise, I am still more keen in watching..... MI 2 killed the franchise for me.....
